Why Anti-Graffiti Film?
If graffiti or vandalism is an issue where your business is located, you know the potential costs involved in painting over graffiti. But if you’ve had to replace damaged glass windows or doors, you know that’s where the real expense lies. While you may think it’s just glass and you’ll replace it or have it buffed out, think again. Due to updated building codes, new glass is laminated to meet storm codes. And now due to the federal energy codes, glass also now has an insulating pocket (IG Unit) and most likely a Low E Coating (Low Emissivity) that reflects infrared energy. This high-tech glass can be very expensive to replace. For a fraction of what glass replacement would cost, a small investment in 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film can help you avoid the sticker shock of glass replacement.
Graffiti and scratched glass create an unsightly appearance that misrepresents your company and drives away potential customers. 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film is an affordable window film designed to protect your glass. It can be removed and replaced quickly if it is painted or scratched. Replacing the window film is faster and less expensive than replacing the glass, so your buisness will not remain unsightly for long. Anti-Graffiti Film costs a fraction of the price of new glass and also provides UV rejection benefits. Plus, you also get the peace of mind of knowing that the film will hold the glass together if it’s broken.
To help small and large businesses from the Treasure Coast to Miami avoid the expense of replacing glass, Window Tint USA offers an effective and affordable solution in their 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film.
About 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film
The way 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film works is simple. The clear film is applied to virtually any smooth surface and serves as disposable layer that can be hastily removed and replaced by your local 3M™ certified installer. It is designed to maintain your building’s integrity against deliberate scratching, acid etching and tagging, as well as standard wear and tear. The quick installation and replacement means minimal interruptions to your business’ daily operation.
3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film is available in two variations: the single-layered AG-4 and the multi-layered AG-6.
AG-4 film provides basic but nonetheless reliable protection against tagging, forced impacts and wear and tear. Its four-millimeter thickness offers a break strength of 100 lbs. per inch and puncture strength of 93 lbs.
The thicker, six-millimeter AG-6 film yields a break strength of 175 lbs. per inch and puncture strength of 132 lbs. It’s the industry’s most technically advanced anti-graffiti film and the ideal choice to meet superior performance standards.
Furthermore, both 3M™ Anti-Graffiti Film products reject 99% of ultraviolet light transmission, helping to preserve merchandise and interior furnishing.
